Love your fancy camera but not sure how to use it to its full potential? This workshop will teach you how to get your camera off of Auto so you have full control over your images. It’s easier than you think!

Jen Swedhin is a professional portrait photographer based out of Denver, originally from Grand Junction. She has been a photographer for 7 years and has taught numerous workshops and classes on photography, camera settings, lighting and photoshop.

This 4 hour class will combine classroom learning with hands-on shooting. The first portion will cover all of the camera basics, from storage and best practices to detailed camera settings so you can understand and control the shutter speed, aperture and ISO. You will also received a printed guide to these settings to take home.

The second portion will be an outdoor photoshoot with models so you can practice your new knowledge of camera settings, with Jen available to answer questions and guide you through different lighting situations.

Any camera that allows you to adjust your settings manually is welcome! Bring your camera, lenses, memory card and excitement.
